- Advent Series: The Songs We Sing
- Join us this Advent season at Covenant Life Church for our new sermon series, The Songs We Sing. Each week, we’ll explore the Scriptures that inspired some of the beloved hymns we sing this time of year, seeking to understand their depth and beauty in light of Christ’s first coming and in eager anticipation of His promised return. Together, we’ll journey through the words of hope, peace, joy, and love that these songs proclaim, allowing them to draw us closer to the heart of the Advent season. Come be renewed in worship and reminded of the hope we have in Christ, a hope that offers forgiveness of sins and eternal life with God.
- Lessons and Carols
- Come and celebrate the season of Advent with Covenant Life Church at our annual Lessons and Carols service on Friday, December 6, at 7:00 pm. Through Scripture readings, carols, and hymns, we’ll journey through the story of God’s faithfulness and the arrival of our Savior, Jesus Christ. This cherished service invites you to reflect on the hope, joy, and peace of Christmas. Bring family and friends for an evening of worship, celebration, and anticipation of the Light that has come into the world. Cookies and hot chocolate will be available after the service for all to enjoy.
- CLC Member Appreciation Christmas Party
- Members, join us for our annual Member Appreciation Christmas Party on Friday, December 13 from 6:30-8:45 PM at South Tampa Fellowship (Ballast Point Campus). Featuring great food, games, childcare, giveaways, and a Christmas Costume competition – think less formal and more funny! This complimentary event is always something we look forward to as a small way to say “thank you” for the many ways you serve our church.
- When registering, please list any dietary restrictions you might have, and also be sure to register any children who will need childcare (generally, 13 and under). We will provide dinner for the children, so please list their dietary restrictions as well. The deadline to register is Sunday, December 8. We look forward to seeing you there, members!
- Christmas Eve by Candlelight
- Join us this Christmas Eve – December 24 at 5:00 pm – for the annual Candlelight Christmas Eve Service. This special service will be a time of worship, reflection, and joy as we gather together to remember God’s love made visible in the coming of Christ. Through Scripture readings, carols, and a message of hope, we’ll focus on the light Jesus brings to a weary world. Bring your family and friends and experience the wonder of Christmas in community. The service will be held at 4:30 pm—we’d love to see you there!
